NODOKA: THE BEAUTY, COLORS AND SPIRIT OF JAPAN

Morris Plains, NJ - Charmant USA is pleased to introduce a new collection of eyewear. NODOKA conveys tranquility, calm, gentleness, serenity and peacefulness. The refined and unique details which represent the essence of Japan have been beautifully transformed into an eyewear collection.

The first collection theme focuses on Kyoto. Among icons representing Japan, a place that is one of the most beautiful is Kyoto. Walking through its streets, you'll encounter items expressing the spirit of Japan: silhouettes of Shinto Shrines and Buddhist Temples, traditional handcrafted goods, the elegance and beauty of Kimonos, and crowds wandering the streets.

Simple yet elegant frame designs reflect the charm of Japanese culture. Design motifs such as TAKE (bamboo), KIGUMI (interlocking of wood), NURIBASHI (lacquered chopsticks) and TORII (entrance gate at Shinto shrine) all native to Japan and found throughout Kyoto. The NODOKA Collection offers newness and individuality.

NODOKA model 10123 features a milled front and incorporates the MAIKO's small, thin "V neckline" into the side of the lens. The traditional Kimono pattern is printed along the outside temple for authenticity. A truly unique style which features the bold TORII design on the bridge is Model NODOKA 10125. The natural beauty inspired by the Sagano area in Kyoto, which is known for its lush bamboo trees are reflected on the temples of NODOKA style 10132.

The launch collection consists of eleven styles which include titanium, metal and acetate. The color palette also is reminiscent of the colors inspired by the KASANE (the 12 layer Kimono worn by noble families).

Each frame is packaged in a beautiful cylinder shaped case. Merchandising materials include bamboo inspired logo blocks, Torii gate, silk banner and counter card.
