CHARMANT EXPANDS CFX CHARMANT FLEX COLLECTION

Morris Plains, NJ-Charmant USA has expanded its CFX Charmant Flex collection to include women's and kids.

CFX is a metal alloy of 49% titanium and 51% nickel. It is used in the bridge, top bar and temples which allows frames to keep the shape originally set by the dispenser. Because of the flexibility of this material, temples feature the same benefits of spring hinges without the spring. Stress is shifted from the end piece to the temples.

CFX's unique features include:

• Flexibility: 10 times springier than spring steel
• Light-weight: 25% lighter than conventional metals
• Durability: Won't kink, resists breakage
• Corrosion resistant (almost the same resistance as pure titanium)
• Super elasticity (3 times more elastic than beta-titanium)
• Shape memory: CFX has the ability to recover its shape

The Charmant CFX collection consists of 17 men's, 2 women's and 3 kids styles. As an additional feature, 5 of the men's styles and 3 kids styles are offered with C-Lock end tips.

The C-Lock end tips create a slip-free, tight fit, locking securely around the ear, yet unlocking with ease to remove the frames. Designed for those with active lifestyles.

CFX Charmant Flex is also featured within Charmant's Aristar brand with four classic men's styles.
